Are Functional Skills courses recognised?
Yes they are! Functional Skills are regulated qualifications which give you a recognised, nationally accredited qualification which never expires. Functional Skills qualifications are recognised as being equivalent to a grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English and are accepted for apprenticeships, employers and university applications.
When can I enrol?
You can start at any time and access your chosen course immediately after you purchase. Simply add the course you need to your basket, complete the enrolment and then start working through your course right away. Once you’re ready, choose when you’d like to take your exam and purchase this from our site. After passing the exam, you will be sent your certificates from the awarding body.
How long does it take to complete?
Each course has a recommended study time of 50 hours before you complete your exam. However, this is only recommended and you can study less time prior to purchasing an exam if you wish. There is no minimum time and students are welcome to purchase their exams at any time.
Do I get a tutor on a course?
There is no need to have a personal tutor for our Functional Skills courses. Everything you need is accessed online with materials, videos and interactive quizzes to help you learn the content. Our support team can be contacted at any time to assist with issues but these courses are self-led, allowing you to swiftly complete the topics and get ready for your exam.
